I have to know who we consider good cops in the strictest sense. I know that Bill is technically a cop, but based on the board description right now, it looks as though we are talking about people in the Captain Winslow profession. If that is so, wouldn't this work better in the Bad Guys section? After all, were there any GOOD cops? I can think of several that had super duper tiny roles, but none that shared the screen like Jack Ging. Am I missing the obvious? One of the good cops is an ode to Josie: "Do you have a badge for your friend Harvey in the car?"

Well, that's the problem with minor characters... EEEEP!!! What are there names?
Of course, there were lots of cops, but do they usually go under the "They didn't even have a name!" category?
The other person that I wonder about, and whether or not he is a cop, is Bill's contact. I think his name is Tommy.
Who is that?
Then of course there are the cops that come in and help Bill when he makes a bust, in Dreams I think. Remember Bill says "I'll call it in from the office."

True. It seems that most of the cops we never even saw or we heard no names. At least in HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID, that cop would have gotten a credit because he spoke AND Bill named him, so he could probably go here.
Most would probably go in the section of Minor Minor like the screencap above, or in the WHAT IS THEIR NAME section. I guess that is why I was confused to see this section because it appears to encompass so many other genres because we really see no cops outside of one or two.
I think that Tommy is his aide of information...kind of like Eugene becomes in THE HAND-PAINTED THAI and such. Or he might be the hub. It seems like Bill and Tommy talk the most when there are rivalries happening among the branches of the federal government...like in HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID.

Can't forget DANNY GLOVER, was that in Fire Man?
Well.. maybe not someone we knew much, and he busted Tony, but hey! the dude was just doing his job.

I am not saying we didn't have GOOD cops, but it seems that they were in super duper tiny roles like the one I mentioned above. Even our young Danny Glover did not do much on screen except try to bust Tony and run afoul of Ralph's incredible sewer trick.
